The building is structured as a central organization, whose programmatic core is the auditorium, and which, mediated by a circulatory bellows, deploys leisure and educational programs on the perimeter. The public programs of general access deploys in the outer ring of the ground floor, towards the Rodrigo Bueno neighborhood, the access, the bar and the library, with semi-covered areas extend the programs to the exterior.
The exhibition areas, both covered and semi-covered, are located towards the Ecological Reserve. Located in the center of the building, the auditorium has a permeable perimeter enclosure system that can be opened expanding its spatiality, extending its interior to the spaces of the entrance hall, the library and the exhibition hall. This modality enhances the use of the auditorium and makes a dynamic space that supports multiple uses even more flexible and expandable.
The building generates series of expansions both on the ground floor and on the top floor. The expansions are understood as extensions of the quality of the interior space in semi-covered and uncovered spaces. In the case of the library, the expansion is the connection with the bar, giving the possibility of the appearance of a hybrid space where the activities of both programs can be integrated.

Historically, Architecture has been torn between ornament and the structuring of form. Elementales proposes a reconciliation between these two apparently antagonistic figures. An organizational approach to ornament is proposed, while the ornamental scope of organization is explored. The elements of Architecture are the central field of study of the research, from which the construction of models where supporting structure and form are integrated into a whole that is embedded with ornamentation is sought.
Domes, facades, columns, stairs, vaults, roofs, portals, are just some of the elements of Architecture that, throughout the history of the discipline, have integrated forms of ornamentation, supporting structure and heterogeneous organizations. In addition, they have been the object of study from the perspectives of style, character and tectonics, all concepts that require deep reflection between the way of appearing and the internal organization of objects.
With an intense work on the problematization of contemporary means of representation, the research seeks to delve into the systems that make up these and other elements of Architecture in order to build hypotheses, not only regarding their organization, but also regarding the effects and messages involved in their potential transformations. Thus, the construction of disciplinary knowledge that provides clarity to the problem of ornamentation in relation to the underlying structure of the architectural form is pursued.
